Participate in our reader challenge! Create an artwork based on any of this week's prompts, and send it to kesubmissions@live.com by Thursday, the day before at the latest. We will post the submissions every Friday at 5:00 PM, PST. Remember, this is a CREATIVE challenge, so your piece can be a painting, drawing, story, poem, sculpture... pretty much anything considered creative! Also, don't forget to give us the name you wish to be credited by, and a link to your other creative works, if you have one.

What this blog is about

After years of being mired in the sludge of depression, various disorders, and a paralyzing lack of creative energy, artists Kit Cameo and Elaine Gladney decided to beat the crap out of non-motivation and challenge each other to create one work of art to post every Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.

The rules:
1. Each artist must come up with one challenge idea every other day and post it for the other.
2. Each artist must create one work of art based on the challenge idea she receives that day and post the results before 4pm PST on the next challenge day.
3. Each artist must post what she has done for each challenge, no matter what, even if it is only a sketch or a half-formed lump of clay.
